Role: Production Manager
Production Budget: $147K
Summary: When shooting smack dab in a major city like San Francisco, the neighbors never really understand how loud a generator is going to be. When saying, “only an hour or two more” you know it’s a lie. It hurts a bit, but what can you do? Can’t make things look good without lights. If it doesn’t look good, no one will watch more than 5 seconds. If no one watches, we’ve failed. Therefore, “only an hour or two more” is really “I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do about it.”
Key Responsibilities:
Build out locations deck to present to client for approval and location signoff
Source and secure locations and background talent; manage all related bookings and confirmations.
Coordinate equipment and production rentals, catering, and vendor relations.
Generate and process Certificates of Insurance (COIs), talent releases, credit card authorizations.
Prepare and distribute call sheets to talent, client, and crew.
Manage production payroll through Wrapbook, including collecting, completing, and submitting required documentation.
